Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)
Physician advisors are available to help members understand, navigate, and cope with the stress of daily practice and medical-legal issues. Call 1-800-267-6522.
Canadian Mental Health Association - Edmonton Region
Provides confidential, non-judgmental intervention, emotional support, and resources to people who are in distress, as well as their family, friends, and caregivers. The 24-hour distress line is available 7 days a week at 780-482-4357.

The EFAP is a service designed to support individuals in dealing with personal, family or work related issues. All University of Alberta faculty and staff have access to the EFAP services.
