Thursdays, February 2 to February 16, 2023
7:00pm - 8:30pm MT | VIRTUAL WORKSHOPS

A growing body of literature supports narrative-based medicine as a tool to share experiences and express emotion. Join us for a 3-session series (1.5 hours per session) where we will introduce key concepts in narrative-based medicine, and experience writing prose, poetry, and graphic medicine as a tool to aid in recovery from the pandemic.

Please Note: This session is open to staff physicians within Alberta, and space is limited. The sessions are interactive and participants will be invited to do some writings and sharing during each session. Participants will be encouraged to have their cameras on during the sessions.

Registration is for the whole series. We encourage you to attend all three sessions, as it will provide the richest reflection experience. However, we understand if that is not feasible with your schedule and you may attend those sessions that work for you.

Workshop Facilitator

  • Dr. Melanie Hnatiuk MD, CCFP, FCFP
